DJ Shannahan

DJ Shannahan, President of Sharp Water, is dedicated to his profession, bringing you the absolute best experience in the water treatment business.He began his career in water treatment in 1990 when his father, Duke Shannahan, first purchased the company, previously known as Tolan Water Service. The certifications DJ has earned throughout the past 16 years include Licensed Water Conditioning Installer and Water Plant Operator in Maryland & Delaware, Certified Water Specialist Level VI, Certified Installer, and Certified Contractual Operator through the Water Quality Association (WQA). He is also a member of the WQA Board of Directors, Vice-Chairman of the Septic Tank Task Force, as well as a member of the EcoWater Systems President's Council which is a special Advisory Board made up of 4 top dealers nationwide. After managing the company for 14 years, in January 2004, DJ and his wife Cindy became the proud owners of Sharp Water.



Sales Team


Steve Cropper

Steve Cropper, a sales consultant with Sharp Water for 7 years, has won numerous awards including earning the #1 Salesman in the Nation in 2004 and 2005. He has been a member of the Fleet Admiral's Circle for the past 4 years for being one of the top 20 salespeople in the nation. In addition, Steve is the Admiral in the Sapphire tier (serving mid-sized markets), and has received several Wall of Fame Awards for selling 8 or more units in a day.






Jerry Long

Jerry Long, another long-term sales consultant with over 7 years experience, earned the distinction of being named the Commodore of the Sapphire tier in 2004 which is bestowed upon the #2 salesperson in the nation. Along with Steve, he has been a member of the Fleet Admiral's Circle for the past 4 years, and earned a Captain's Award each of the past 5 years. Jerry has also earned several Wall of Fame Awards during his tenure at Sharp Water.








John Sensi

John Sensi began his career at Sharp Water in 1999 as a service technician. He was promoted to the position of Service Manager and later became our Operations Manager. Knowledgeable in all aspects of water treatment. He has been honored by EcoWater as a Captain in the Sapphire Tier for the past 2 years, and became a member of the Fleet Admiral's Circle in 2005. John has added several Wall of Fame Awards to his list of accomplishments. John is also certified by the Water Quality Association as a Level IV Water Specialist and Installer while also holding a Level III Water Treatment Plant Operator's license in the state of Maryland.





Service and Delivery


ServiceWith over 75 years of combined experience, our service department is one of the most knowledgeable on Delmarva. We are fortunate to have on our staff Licensed Water Conditioning Installers, a Licensed Master Plumber, EcoWater Certified Service Technicians, Water Quality Association Certified Water Specialists, and Certified Installers. In addition to being qualified to install and service EcoWater brand equipment, they are highly skilled in other brands on the market. So, if you are unhappy or dissatisfied with your current water treatment company, give us a call and we'll make sure your problem is handled promptly and professionally.



Delivery To further provide you with the highest level of customer service, we offer emergency service 24 hours a day / 7 days a week. If our office is closed you can take advantage of our after-hours emergency pager. In the event that a situation occurs during the night, over the weekend, or on a holiday, you can rest assured that our service department will be available to handle your call!

In order to fully meet the needs of our customers we have a fleet of over 20 vehicles on the road daily. Whether you are an automatic equipment customer or take advantage of one of our many other services such as exchange tanks, bottled water, or metered water, our professional, experienced service and delivery departments are ready to handle all of your water treatment needs.

To insure that your call is handled promptly and courteously we have a fully trained support staff who keep our office running smoothly and efficiently. Their focus is to offer our prospects and customers top quality customer service to enhance their experience with our company.




  • Cindy Shannahan...  Cindy is the co-owner of Sharp Water and she also serves
        as Office Manager overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

  • Marjorie Andrews...  Should you visit our Salisbury office in person our Sr. Customer
         Service Rep, Marjorie, will be the cheerful person to greet you.

  • Lauren Judson...  Our Billing Clerk, Lauren, will be more than happy to assist you
         with any questions or concerns involving your bill.

  • Lisa Rice...  Experiencing problems with the quality of your home's water or
        interested in bottled water? Give our Sales Coordinator, Lisa,
        a call and she will have a sales consultant visit you promptly.

  • Travis Lewis...  Our Service Coordinator, Travis, will dispatch a service tech
        to your home as soon as possible either to have your new equipment installed or
        service your existing equipment.

  • Jessica Shannahan…  As Administrative Assistant to all of the above
        mentioned personnel, Jessica is an integral member of
        the Sharp Water office staff.
